In July last year, we announced that as part of our cost-of-living package to staff we were launching free sanitary products for staff and would review this initiative at the end of the financial year.

We are delighted to announce that due to the huge success of the scheme, we are continuing this service to support our staff – thanks to our Estates and Facilities Team who have offered to order and stock staff toilets with sanitary towels and tampons going forward.

We are continuing to work with Hey Girls, an environmentally friendly company who ensure their products offer the functionality of plastic without pollution. Day pads are made with responsibly sourced bamboo, while tampons are made with 100% cotton and recycled cardboard applicator. Both day pads and tampons are chemical and perfume free, do not contain plastic and the packaging is fully biodegradable in 6 months.
